Well-marbled pork steak, seasoned properly and seared in a sizzling hot griddle pan is irresistible topped with a slice of caramelized onion and balsamic compound butter. Serve with crispy potato chips or wedges and peppery rocket salad dressed with a drizzle of lemon juice.
Drizzle pork steaks (at room temperature) with olive oil and a few drops with Worcestershire sauce and season well with sea salt flakes and freshly ground black pepper. Heat a dry griddle pan until sizzling hot. Lay the pork steaks in the pan and leave for 4-5 minutes on each side, until perfectly browned. Remove from the pan and leave to rest for a couple of minutes before serving with compound butter (or a sauce of your choice) and crispy, golden potato chips.
