Keeping the foodie faith

Shaking our feathers for the first post-Covid festive season, SA Pork hosted a year-end celebratory lunch for food writers, stylists and influencers at the Beautiful Hamm & Uys at Blaauwklippen Wine Estate.

Our fabulous foodie friends turned up in numbers, making it an event to remember. One after the other delicious pork dishes appeared magically from the kitchen of our much-loved chef, the famous Johnny Hamman.

One and all had the time of their life before skipping off with a great goody bag.   

Before heading home, our food writers were invited to enter a lucky draw competition. We prodded their sense of humour and tested their foodie pork perceptions. 

The winner?  Julie Velosa!   Big shout out: Congratulations Julie, you’re the winner of the amazing R10 000 cash prize!  We just love the idea of Julie taking her hubbie for a well-deserved mini-holiday!
